Opening hours for the Museum and the Discovery Site


Opening hours for the Museum:

Tuesdays to Sundays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The museum is closed on Mondays.

 

Opening hours for the Discovery Site:

In the wintertime (November - February) the Discovery Site closes at 4 p.m. In the summertime (March - October) the Discovery Site closes at 5 p.m.

The Museum is open on following holidays:

1st of May, Ascension Day, Whit Sunday and Whit Monday, Feast of Corpus Christi, Day of German Unification (3rd of October), and Allhallows from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Museum is closed: Mondays and on the 24th, 25th and 31st of December. 

The “Human Traces” art trail is always open to the public and not bound by opening hours. 

Activities and courses at the Stone Age Workshop must be booked in advance.
